Mangaluru, Oct 5 : A diocesan level Animators' training was held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Olivet House, Jeppu. Fr Charles Menezes, former International YCS Chaplain and the present ICYM Director of the diocese of Udupi and the parish priest of Udupi Church, was the resource person for the training programme. The session started with a prayer led by Fr Ashwin Cardoza, the director of ICYM, Diocese of Mangalore.

All of us have some youthfulness in us no matter our age. Fr Charles through interactive games brought out this very youthfulness of our animators. A group sharing session followed the ice-breaking games. Fr Charles shared a few tips on how the animators can be an effective link between the parish priest and the youth. Animators shared their joy in becoming young by being with the youth.

The session concluded with the singing of the ICYM Anthem.
