ICYM Mangalore South Deanery organises 'Restore the Shore' beach clean-up drive

Mangaluru, Oct 5 : Under the initiative taken by ICYM Mangalore Diocese, ICYM St Joseph Vaz, Mangalore South Deanery organized 'Restore the Shore' - beach clean up drive at Someshwar beach on 2nd October 2021, from 7.15 a.m. to 10 a.m. Programme began with a prayer and ICYM Mangalore South Deanery President Mackly Figredo welcomed the gathering.

With a motto of 'Time to boast the coast' all the members started to clean up the littering. Plastic items , sandals, and glass bottles were collected in separate covers and properly discarded.

Nishal Preemal Dsouza , ICYM Mangalore South Deanery Secretary thanked the gathering. 50 members of all the units from Mangalore South Deanery actively participated in this noble mission.
