Moodbidri, Sep 10 : Corpus Christi Church here celebrated " Monti Fest" with pomp at 7.30 a.m. on 8th September 2021. Children came with flowers and First Holy Communion Children came in white dresses carrying flowers. Rev. Fr.  Joachim Fernandes  - Director of Diocesan SCC was the Main celebrant with Parish Priest V. Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira as the co-celebrant. Flowers were offered to Mother Mary by the children in the Church Main Hall followed by the blessing of the New Corn ("Novem"). Liturgy was given to the First Holy Communion Children who conducted it very nicely. 

After the mass , "Novem" was distributed to all parishioners present for the service. All children were given wrapped packets of sweets and gifts by the Catechism teachers and YCS members.
