Chitradurga, Oct 3 : Formation of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) and Young Christian Students / Young Students' Movement (YCS/YSM) units took place at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District in the Diocese of Shimoga on 3rd October 2021.

Diocesan Youth Director & YCS/YSM Chaplain Fr Pius D'Souza and Diocesan Youth Lady Animator Sr. Helen visited the parish of Hiriyur and helped in the formation of ICYM & YCS/YSM units.

At 8 am Fr Pius D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist and preached a homily on the importance of Rosary in the Catholic families.

After the mass at 9:30am, he met the Youth and motivated them. Then he led the election. The elected members of ICYM for the year 2021 - 22 are :
