Chikkakammanahalli  - Bengaluru, March 27, 2023 : Yesusparsha Team began their four days Lenten Retreat at St. Francis Xavier's Church, Chikkakammanahalli, Archdiocese of Bangalore on March 23.

Fr Franklin D'Souza, Bro. T. K. George, Prolife Manjula Joy and Bro. Harshith Castelino were part of the team.

Retreat began at 4pm with Rosary led by Prolife Manjula Joy. At 4:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship.

At 5pm Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "God's love and shared her testimony". At 5:45pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Worship hymn. At 6pm Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on "Word of God is the sword of the Holy Spirit".

At 6:30pm Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Worship. Then Bro. T. K. George spoke on "Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior".

At 7:15pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the healing adoration together with the team. Then at 8pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Parish Priest Fr Shantkumar.

Retreat concluded at 8:30pm.

Day 2:

Second day's Lenten Retreat began at 4pm on March 24 with Rosary led by Prolife Manjula Joy.

At 4:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the Way of the Cross.  At 5:15pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship.

At 5:30pm Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "Forgiveness brings healing" (Matthew 5:23-24). At 6:15pm Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Worship hymn. Then at 6:20pm Bro. T. K. George led a session on "Sin and its consequences".

At 7:15pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the healing adoration together with the team. He based his Adoration on Exodus 23:25, Psalm 127, Isaiah 59:1, 41:30, 65:1, Jeremiah 5:25.

Then at 8:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Parish Priest Fr Shantkumar.

Retreat concluded at 9pm. Food was served to all.

Day 3:

Third day's Lenten Retreat began at 4pm on March 25 with Rosary led by Fr Franklin D'Souza.

At 4:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship.

At 5:00pm Fr Franklin D'Souza prepared faithful for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. At 6pm Confessions were held. Six Priests helped in the confessionals from 6pm to 8:30pm. Meantime adoration was led by Bro. T. K. George and Bro. Harshith Castelino. Healing session was also led by the team.

Then at 8:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Parish Priest Fr Shantkumar.

Retreat concluded at 9:15pm. Food was served to all.

Day 4:

Fourth and Final day's Lenten Retreat began at 9am on March 26 with Rosary led by Prolife Manjula Joy.

At 9:30am Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship. At 10am Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "Prayer life". At 10:45am Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Worship. Then at 11am Fr Franklin D'Souza spoke on " God's gift Holy Spirit".

At 11:45am Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Worship. At 12pm Bro. T. K. George took a session on "Biblical blessings".

Lunch was served at 1pm for all gathered.

After the lunch at 2pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship. At 2:20pm Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "Mother Mary, Mother of Jesus and Mother of the Church".

At 3pm Fr Franklin D'Souza led the anointing adoration. He specially prayed for Children, Youth, widowers and widows, Couples, Religious and Priests.

At 4pm Fr Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated Holy Eucharist together with Parish Priest Fr Shantkumar.

End of the Holy Eucharist Parish Priest Rev. Fr Shanth Kumar thanked Yesusparsha Team members and all those who helped in making the retreat a success.

Retreat concluded at 5pm.
