Mangaluru, Jan 27 : The Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour by the students of classes II C and III B of Carmel School here, on 26th January 2020. After the flag hoisting all the students had the joy of participating in the programme. It began with a Prayer Service invoking God’s blessings on our country, very specially that our country may continue to uphold the values enshrined in The Constitution. Significant Skits highlighting the Fundamental Rights and the valour of our soldiers were enacted. Patriotic songs and dances brought out the true spirit of patriotism.

Athuf Hazara welcomed the gathering, Anvitha, Anam and Simra Shareefa compered the programme and Austin and Mohammed Hansh proposed the Vote of Thanks. Sister M. Gracy A.C., the Vice Principal in her message emphasized the tenets of –Liberty, Equality and Fraternity with concrete examples.
