Mangaluru, Nov 3 : CODP ® Mangaluru and ICYM Fajir jointly organized a voluntary service at Panela in Paranchil area on Novembr 1, 2020. Rev. Fr Oswald Monteiro, Director of CODP gave some information about Natural Resource Management and explained rain water harvesting component called contour trenches.

Rev Fr. Sunil Veigas, Parish priest of Fajir Church, Br. Lanson, 25 ICYM members, one SHG member participated in the Shramadaan.

Mrs. Rita D Souza, Mr. Peter D Souza and Mrs Gulabi Monteiro staffs of CODP, assisted in the program.

A total of 27 trenches were dug in this area and 12 fruit saplings were planted.
