ICYM Paneer Visits the Link Integrated Rehabilitation Centre For Addicts

Paneer, April 15 : On March 24, 2024, members of the ICYM unit of Our Lady of Mercy Church, Paneer visited the Link Integrated Rehabilitation Centre For Addicts. They arrived at 11:00 AM and conducted a brief program for the residents. The program commenced with a prayer followed by action songs. The patients were given the opportunity to sing, and it was done beautifully. Lydia Lobo, the head of the center, delivered a talk on drug addiction. The patients were given the opportunity to express their experiences and how they changed their lives due to addiction.

Subsequently, ICYM members organized several games for the attendees. Before concluding the program, all had a baila dance session and a few ICYM members took the initiative to distribute snacks and fruits to them. The program concluded at 1:00 PM with another prayer.
