Belthangady, Nov 15 : Children's day was celebrated on 13th November 2021 at Holy Redeemer English Medium School here. Rev. Fr Ronson Pinto, Asst Parish Priest of Bendur Church was the chief guest for the programme. He distributed prizes to the winners of lucky games and online competitions conducted on the occasion of Children’s day.

Students who have secured distinction in the SSLC Examination of 2020-21 were honoured by Rev. Fr Joseph Cardoza, correspondent of Holy Redeemer English Medium school.

Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto, principal of Holy Redeemer Eng Med School; Deacon Jonson Pereira, Belthangady Church; Mrs. Pauline Rego, Secretary of Parish Pastoral council; Mr. Walter Monis, Vice-President and Mrs. Sharmila Moras, Secretary of Parents Teachers Association (PTA); Mr. Lancy Pereira, Coordinator of pastoral commissions were present on the dais.

Teachers entertained the students through drama, dance and wishing songs. Mrs Blendin Rodrigues delivered a speech on the significance of children's day. Mrs. Akida Banu welcomed the gathering, Ms  Vinita Anjali Moras delivered the Vote of thanks and Ms Divya compered the entire programme. Refreshments were served to all the children at the end of the programme.
