Pakshikere , Nov 22 : ICYM Pakshikere unit along with St. Jude association organised “Kutam-2019”, a programme along with Preeti Sadan orphanage children, on 17th November 2019, in Tauro Estate, S-Kodi near here. The programme began at 10:30 am. Over 70 children were present for the programme. President of the programme was Fr. Melwyn Noronha- Parish priest and Prof. Hilda Rayappan- Director of Prajna Counselling Mangalore was the guest of the day. Fr. Rahul Dsouza- Assistant Parish priest , Sr. Margaret - Superior and Valerian Tauro were present on this occasion.

The programme began with a formal inauguration and Mrs. Severine Tauro welcomed the gathering. Fr Rahul addressed the gathering. Felicitation was done to Prof. Hilda Rayappan followed by a talk from her. Newly built NGO by Jackson Saldanha-Vice President, Parish council named, ‘Samaritans’ was inaugurated. Mementos were distributed to the dignitaries. Fr. Melwyn and Arpitha Shetty were the Resource persons of the day.

The children of Preeti Sadan and 'Prajna Araha Samsthe' exhibited their talents by presenting a dance and singing programme followed by a dance from ICYM members. Post lunch various games were conducted to the children. Riyana Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks. Shareen Dsouza compered the program .
