Mangaluru, Nov 16 : ICYM Bejai unit organised ward-wise Badminton Tournament on 15th November 2020 at 9:00 AM in the Church campus. Rev Fr J B Saldanha - Director, Rev Fr Pramod Crasta - Assistant Director, Rev Fr Vishwas Joy Misquith, Rev Fr Robert D'Souza - Principal Lourdes Central School, Mr. Ashok Pinto - Vice President Parish Pastoral Council and President of Lions Club Centennial, Mrs. Preethi Gomes - Secretary Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Rohan Sequeira - ICYM Animator, Sr. Cecilia Crasta - ICYM Animator, Shiny Lewis - ICYM President, Joywin Pinto - ICYM Sports Secretary were the dignitaries on the dais.

The inaugural program began with a Prayer song by ICYM members. ICYM President Shiny Lewis welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr J B Saldanha in his presidential speech wished good luck to all the participants. Badminton tournament was inaugurated by the dignitaries by playing a match. There were 7 referees for the competition. 16 wards participated in the tournament.

Competition was held for Men's and Women's singles and Men's and Women's doubles.

Joywin Pinto - ICYM Sports Secretary expressed his gratitude to all those who helped to make this event a successful one.
