Mangaluru, Sep 14 : ICYM Bejai unit, in association with Commission for Social Development and Commission for Youth, organised ‘Ant-Drug March’ on September 9-10, 2023 in the premises of St. Francis Xavier Church, Bejai.

The march commenced at 6.15 p.m. on Saturday, 9th of September and at 9.15 a.m. on Sunday, 10th of September 2023. To create awareness about substance abuse of drugs, a street play “the best choice” was played in the auto rickshaw parking near the church by the Ranga Adhyayana Kendra and Dramatics Association of St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore.

The march commenced from the Church portico and ended at the Bejai Auto Rickshaw Stand.

The month of September has been dedicated as Anti-Drug Month, to create awareness about the abuse of drugs, by the Diocese of Mangalore.
