Mangaluru, Jul 11 : Fr Stan Swamy - a gentle, fearless warrior for tribal rights, stood for truth and believed in justice. A memorial Mass to pray for his departed soul was held on 9th July 2021 at 5 pm at St Sebastian Church, Bendur. The mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr Ronson Pinto, Asst Parish priest.

After the mass, under the leadership of CAL a short prayer service was conducted. The prayer was led by the Parish priest, V. Rev. Fr Vincent Monteiro. Following which, candles were lit by all present and flowers were placed in front of Fr Stan Swamy’s portrait in his honour.
