Puttur, Sep 10, 2021 : On the occasion of Nativity feast , Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Puttur Unit conducted two competitions namely 'Altar Sobhai' and 'Kavitha Sang', open to Puttur Parishioners only. Both competitions were conducted through WhatsApp. A good response was received for these competitions. There were a total of 38 participants for 'Altar Sobhai' and 8 participants for 'Kavitha Sang'.

Rev. Fr. Prashanth - Parish Priest of Bannur and Rev. Fr. Kevin - Asst. Parish Priest of Puttur helped by being Judges for 'Kavitha Sang'. Rev. Fr. Stany - Campus Director of St. Philomena Puttur, Sr. Lora - Headmistress of St Philomena Primary School, Rev Fr. Lawrence - Parish Priest of Puttur and Fr. Kevin were the judges for 'Altar Sobhai'.

The winners of the competitions were as follows :

'Altar Sobhai' : 1st - Mrs. Theresa Gonsalves, 2nd - Ms. Jenifer, 3rd - Mrs. Pramila Preethi
'Kavitha Sang' : 1st - Mr. Preetham Pinto, 2nd - Mrs. Dimple Fernandes, 3rd - Ms. Mavina Pinto.

Prizes to the winners were distributed on the Feast day, i.e, on 08/09/21 after 8:15am mass. Prizes included an attractive certificate and cash prize.
