Manjeshwar, Sep 18 : On the occasion of Monthi feast ,ICYM Miyapadavu along with YCS organised “Noven Jevan” on 11th September 2022. The program began at 11.30am in the Church Hall.

ICYM members showered God's blessing with a prayer song. Fr. Edwin Vincent Correa - Director ICYM Miypadavu , Joaquim Monteiro - Parish Pastoral Council Vice President , Sr. Inna Mary - Superior of Holy Cross Convent , Ms Nishal Preemal Dsouza - General Secretary ICYM Mangalore Diocese , Mr.Terrance Levy Crasta - Karnataka Regional Vice President and Kasargod Deanery Representative , Ms. Viola Reshma Lewis - Regional Representative, Maxim Rosten Dsouza - Kasargod Deanery President , Mr. Pradeep Dsouza - Convenor Of Commissions , Mr. Praveen Dsouza and Mrs.Sylvia Santanez - ICYM Animators Miyapadavu , Jenisha Dsouza - President ICYM Miyapadavu were the guests on the dais.

ICYM President of Miyapadavu unit Jenisha Dsouza welcomed the gathering. Fr Edwin Correa gave the presidential speech and also appreciated the hard work of the team organizing the program. General Secretary ICYM Mangalore Diocese gave a short message and gave information regarding blood donation and hair donation. Thereafter ‘Noven’ was blessed by Fr Edwin Correa and served in the milk to all the members present there.

“Food tastes better when you eat it with your family”. As per our tradition everyone sat on the floor and dishes were served by the ICYM members. All the food items were cooked and bought by the ICYM Members. Everyone enjoyed this moment of togetherness.

Jesvita Dsouza , Cultural Representative proposed the Vote of Thanks. Dafni Preema Monteiro compered the whole program.

Overall it was a great day for ICYM members of Miyapadavu unit to come together as a family and celebrate the day.
