Moodbidri, Nov 16 : Children's Day was celebrated at Saverapura parish on 14th November 2021.

In the morning, Children actively participated in the liturgy where Rev Fr Henry Fernandes was the main celebrant who preached a meaningful homily. Vice-Provincial of the Vice-Province of Majella Rev Fr Joseph Ivel Mendanha, Parish Priest Rev Fr Prem Prakash Cutinha, Rev Fr Rohan Dias and Rev Fr Vivian concelebrated the mass.

Vice-Provincial Rev Fr Joseph Ivel Mendanha conveyed his message to the faithful. The Parish Priest Fr Prem thanked the Vice-Provincial on behalf of the faithful for visiting the parish.

This was followed by a get-together for Children in the parish hall. Group activities were carried out, and prizes were distributed. Children delivered an outstanding performance. They performed a few dance moves and acted out a parable.

Mrs Anitha D'Souza welcomed the gathering and Roshel Pinto was the compere for the event.
