Moodbidri, Oct 20 : Half day Bible & Catechism Conference was organised for the children of St. Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura in collaboration with Raknno, Mangalore Diocesan Konkanni Weekly on Sunday , 17th October 2021 after the morning mass.

The programme was inaugurated by Raknno Editor Fr. Valerian Fernandes in the presence of parish priest Fr Prem Prakash Cutinha, Redemptorist rector Fr Rakesh Mathias, Fr Rohan Dias , Parish Council Vice-President, Secretary & YCS Animator.

During this programme, Fr Rakesh gave insights into various methods of prayer whereas Fr Rohan spoke on the Power of the Word of God. 

The catechism teachers conducted Bible Activities and Quiz. The brothers and YCS members added more life to the event with a variety of Action songs and games. Overall it was a very useful session for the Children of Saverapura.

Parish priest Fr Prem thanked Fr. Valerian for sponsoring this faith formation programme, Fr Rakesh and Fr Rohan for their useful talks and all those who ensured the success of this programme.
