Moodbidri, Feb 14 : The inauguration and blessing of the Dialysis Centre and Dental Department will be held on Tuesday, 15th February 2022, at Mount Rosary Hospital, Alangar.

The Dialysis centre inauguration will be done by Mr Umanath Kotian, MLA, Mulki-Moodbidri Constituency and Blessing by V. Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira, Vicar Forane of Moodbidri Deanery.

The Dental Department inauguration will be done by Mrs Indu, Chief Officer of Moodbidri Municipality and blessing by Rev. Fr Walter D’Souza Parish Priest of Holy Rosary Alangar Church.

V. Rev Sr Prescilla D’Mello, Superior General- Helpers of Mount Rosary; Dr. Amith D’Souza MBBS, MD, DM (Nephrology); Mr Meghanath Shetty, President, MUDA; Mr Prasad Kumar, President, Moodbidri Muncipality; Mrs Sowmya Sandeep Shetty, Councillor Moodbidri Muncipality; Mr P. K. Thomas, Councillor Moodbidri Muncipality and Mr Walter D’Souza, Philanthropist will be present as Chief Guests.

Rev. Msgr. Edwin C. Pinto, Founder of Helpers of Mount Rosary Congregation will preside over the programme.

About Mount Rosary Hospital

Very Rev. Msgr. Francis Elias D’Souza, a missionary, who was a Privy Chamberlain to Pope Pius XII of Holy Memory, founded Mount Rosary in the year 1937 in Alangar village of Moodbidri. During his mission he came across many people suffering from tuberculosis. As there were no modern medicines to treat TB disease, he learnt Ayurveda and with the help of volunteers started treating people of all castes and religions.

After the introduction of modern drugs for the treatment of Tuberculosis, the T.B. hospital services were converted into allopathic Mount Rosary Hospital treating all types of tropical diseases. Later a 10 bed in-patient ward was added.

In the year 1989, Rev. Msgr. Edwin C. Pinto came as director of Mount Rosary. To improve the services and care of Mount Rosary home for the aged and the hospital, with the permission of the Holy See, he started a Religious Congregation, Helpers of Mount Rosary. Today Helpers of Mount Rosary has 70+ professed sisters and 12 trainees. They take care of institutional services and Mount Rosary Hospital.

Due to the inflow of patients, an entirely new Hospital was built in 2019.

Now, Mount Rosary Hospital is a 45-bed modern hospital, with its own campus in a 4.50 acres land consisting of Full time Medical doctors, nurses and support staff serving the patients with utmost care.

Specialized doctors in Medicine, ENT, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cardiology, Urosurgery, Nephrology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radiology, Dental Surgery, Speech and Hearing departments are available.

And also Physiotherapy, Ayurveda and Panchakarma Wellness centre are in a separate building in the campus.

To serve the patients in emergency, the hospital is open round the clock catered with latest technology like C-arm, Endoscopy, Laboratory, X-Ray, Ultrasound scanning, Labour Theatre, Operation Theatre, ICU, NICU and Pharmacy.

There are Single Rooms and also male and female general wards. This hospital will cater to a wide range of patients with spacious in-patient wards and expert doctors, caring nurses and support staff.

Patients from surrounding 28 villages come to this hospital to get medical care.

The Sisters, Helpers of Mount Rosary have experience in taking care of sick and elderly in their hospital and the old age homes. Hence, they will serve the poor, elderly and sick people with utmost care in the modern hospital.

ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಡೆಂಟಲ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶೀರ್ವಚನ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 15, 2022 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಅಲಂಗಾರಿನ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ:

ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯ ಪೋಪ್ ಪಿಯುಸ್ XII, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಚೇಂಬರ್ಲೇನ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಅತೀ ವಂದನೀಯ ಮೊನ್ಸಿಂಜೋರ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಎಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು 1937 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡುಬಿದಿರೆಯ ಅಲಂಗಾರ್ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ,ಅವರು ಕ್ಷಯರೋಗದಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು. ಟಿಬಿ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲು ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಔಷಧಿಗಳಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ, ಅವರು ಆಯುರ್ವೇದವನ್ನು ಕಲಿತರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.

ಕ್ಷಯರೋಗ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಔಷಧಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ, ಟಿ.ಬಿ. ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ ಅಲೋಪತಿಕ್ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೊಜರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ 10 ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಒಳರೋಗಿಗಳ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

1989 ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಅತೀ ವಂದನೀಯ ಮೊನ್ಸಿಂಜೋರ್ ಎಡ್ವಿನ್ ಸಿ. ಪಿಂಟೋ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು. ವಯಸ್ಸಾದವರಿಗೆ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿ ಮನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸಲು, ಪೋಪ್ರವರ ಅನುಮತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಹೆಲ್ಪರ್ಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು,. ಇಂದು ಹೆಲ್ಪರ್ಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿ ಸಭೆಯ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಭೆಯ 70 ವೃತ್ತಿನಿರತ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು 12 ಪ್ರಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳದಿಂದಾಗಿ, ಆಧುನಿಕ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಹೊಸ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ವನ್ನು 2019 ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈಗ, ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು 45 ಹಾಸಿಗೆಗಳ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಮಯದ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ದಾದಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ 4.50 ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಾಳಜಿಯಿಂದ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ರೋಗ, ಕಿವಿ, ಮೂಗು, ಗಂಟಲು , ಎಲುಬು ರೋಗ, ಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ, ಹೃದಯ ರೋಗ, ಮೂತ್ರ ರೋಗ, ಕಿಡ್ನಿ, ಚರ್ಮ ರೋಗ, ಮನೋರೋಗ, ವಿಕಿರಣಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ (ರೇಡಿಯಾಲಜಿ), ದಂತ ಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಮಾತು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರವಣ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ವೈದ್ಯರು ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಕಟ್ಟಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯುರ್ವೇದ ಮತ್ತು ಪಂಚಕರ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಫಿಸಿಯೋಥೆರಪಿ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಿವೆ.

ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ಸಿ-ಆರ್ಮ್, ಎಂಡೋಸ್ಕೋಪಿ, ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯ, ಎಕ್ಸ್-ರೇ, ಅಲ್ಟ್ರಾಸೌಂಡ್ ಸ್ಕ್ಯಾನಿಂಗ್, ಲೇಬರ್ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್, ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್, ಐಸಿಯು, ಎನ್ಐಸಿಯು ಮತ್ತು ಫಾರ್ಮಸಿಯಂತಹ ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದೊಂದಿಗೆ 24 ಗಂಟೆ ತೆರೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ಎಕ್ಸ್-ರೇ, ಅಲ್ಟ್ರಾಸೌಂಡ್ ಸ್ಕ್ಯಾನಿಂಗ್, ಪ್ರಸೂತಿ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್, ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್, ಐಸಿಯು, ಎನ್ಐಸಿಯು, ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಫಾರ್ಮಸಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ 24 ಗಂಟೆ ತೆರೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳು, ಪುರುಷ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ವಾರ್ಡ್ಗಳಿವೆ. ಈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಒಳರೋಗಿಗಳ ವಾರ್ಡ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಣಿತ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಕಾಳಜಿಯುಳ್ಳ ದಾದಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ 28 ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ರೋಗಿಗಳು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೇವೆ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಹೆಲ್ಪರ್ಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಜರಿ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಭೆಯ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು, ತಮ್ಮ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೃದ್ಧಾಶ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವೃದ್ಧರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಭವ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರು, ವೃದ್ಧರು ಮತ್ತು ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಾಳಜಿಯಿಂದ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
