Hosanagar : St. Francis Xavier Church, Kable celebrates Golden Jubilee

Hosanagar , Feb 12 : St. Francis Xavier Church, Kable in the Hosanagar Taluk of the Diocese of Shimoga celebrated its Golden Jubilee on February 3, 2021.

On the occasion of the Jubilee, Holy Eucharist was celebrated by His Excellency Dr. Francis Serrao Sj , Bishop of Shimoga. In the beginning of the Holy Eucharist, he remembered all the priests those who served in this parish for the last fifty years. Together with 50 concelebrant priests he thanked God for the gift of this Parish.

After the Holy Eucharist, a short felicitation function was held at the church campus. Good number of faithful as well as Priests and religious from the Diocese of Shimoga, Chickmagalur, Bangalore as well as Udupi witnessed the jubilee event.

Fr Richard Pais, the Parish Priest welcomed and thanked everyone.
