Mangaluru, Nov 17 : A free eye checkup camp was held on 16th November 2021 at the premises of Snehalaya. The inspection camp was organized in collaboration with Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Mangalore Round Table 115 and Mangalore Ladies Circle 82 and was conducted by the doctors of Prasad Nethralaya, Mangaluru.

More than 150 people from Bachalike, Pavoor, Manjeswara, Vorkady, Thoudugoli and Gerukatte made use of this camp. About 93 people with eye problems were found to be in need of spectacles and about 25 required eye surgery. They will be given spectacles and surgery for free at the earliest.

Mr. Royster, Chairman of Mangalore Round Table; Mr. Fate Mohammad, Secretary; Mr. Vinay Fernandes, Programme Coordinator; Mrs. Jennifer Fernandes, President of Mangalore Ladies Circle 82 and Mr. Joseph Crasta, Founder of Snehalaya were present for the event. Staff and residents of Snehalaya also benefited from this free eye checkup camp.
