Mangaluru, Oct 29 :  “A birth date is a reminder to celebrate the life as well as to update the life”.

It is a tradition to celebrate a birthday. A genuine birthday wish can truly make anyone’s day. Birthday Celebrations are good for our health. Lourdes Central School celebrated their Manager Rev Dr John Baptist Saldanha’s birthday on the 28th of October, with a desire to wish good health and a longer life under the guidance of their dynamic Principal Rev Fr Robert D’Souza. The Bejai Parish Parishad Vice President Arun Pinto, Secretary Preethi Gomes and Rev Fr Joy Vishwas Misquith were present.

The programme began with the choir invoking the choicest blessings from God on the Manager. The Principal Fr Robert D’Souza wished Fr Manager with good health and long life. He also appreciated the Manager’s managerial skills and unflinching commitment towards the school and other activities. Ms Vivita on behalf of teaching and non-teaching staff , wished birthday wishes to Fr. Manager by appreciating his leadership qualities, discipline, simple living and multi tasking abilities. She also appreciated the relation shared by Fr. Manager with the inter-religious people. Fr Principal felicitated the Manager with a shawl and bouquet of flowers. Fr. Joy Vishwas was also felicitated on being ordained a priest.

The Prize winners teachers of Tips and Tricks for exams - subject enrichment were felicitated. Expressing his gratitude towards this unique birthday celebration, Fr Manager requested the teachers to invest a lot of energy in their work, take responsibilities like opportunities, update themselves, work together, think anew, instill new values in their lives, teach children to be realistic in life, encourage them to take criticism in a positive way.

Ms Lavina Serrao expressed her gratitude towards the Manager for being present inspite of his busy schedule. The programme was compered by Ms Flavia D’Cunha. The programme concluded with a get together.
