Mulki, Jan 23 : The 150th birth anniversary of Servant of God Raymond Francis Camillus Mascarenhas, the Founder of Bethany Congregation was observed at Bethany English Medium Higher Primary School, Kilpady, Mulki on 23 January 2024.

The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer dance. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries and by offering flowers to Fr. Founder R.F.C Mascarenhas. A dance depicting the virtues of Fr. Founder R.F.C. Mascarenhas was performed by students.

Addressing the gathering Sr. Lydia BS, Asst. Headmistress of Bethany High School said that Fr. Founder had great vision to educate the students especially the poor and neglected. He started many schools, colleges and orphanages to provide basic education for the needy students. Sister also urged the students to love nature and keep the surroundings clean. "We are blessed by his graciousness and are inspired by his saintly life", said the sister.

The students were happy to celebrate this event with love and honor for the founder.
