Kinnigoli, Sep 17 : “Hidden talents when realized and revealed can surprise the world”. Events like Prathibha Karanji provide the best stage for students to unveil their talents.

Cluster level Prathibha Karanji competition was held on 15th September 2023 at Maryvale Higher Primary School Kinnigoli in collaboration with School Education Department, Block Education Department Mangalore and Cluster Resource Centre Padmanoor.

The event began with the prayer song and welcome dance led by students. Sr. Manisha Rodrigues, the headmistress of Maryvale School welcomed the gathering. Sr. Lilly Pereira correspondent, Mr. Hariprasad the Block resource person, Mr. Thimmappa Kotian the donor, Mr. Ramdas Bhat the cluster resource person, Mr. Stany Miranda the PTA Vice President, Sr. Jacintha Dsouza, the Headmistress of Maryvale High School, Sr. Manisha Rodrigues, the Headmistress of Maryvale Hr. Pry. School, Mr. Swaraj Shetty the donor was present at the Prathiba Karanji to boost each of the students participating.

The programme was inaugurated by the school correspondent Sr. Lilly Pereira in a creative manner and also presided over the programme. Mr. Hariprasad, BRP, addressed the gathering.

The students from across schools in the cluster involved themselves in Clay Modeling, Drawing, Singing, Fancy dress. They also participated in speech competitions and much more. The day went ahead with a lot of energy and enthusiasm as planned. Student volunteers gave their best through their co-operation.

The valedictory programme began at 2.00 p.m. in the afternoon after lunch. Mr. Swaraj Shetty, Sr. Manisha Rodrigues, Mr. Stany Miranda and Mr. Ramdas Bhat distributed the prizes to all the winners.

Mrs. Preethi, Mrs Veena compered the programme and Mrs. Jovita, Mrs Lona proposed vote of thanks. The day was filled with numerous cultural events which ultimately concluded with the solemn singing of the National Anthem. All the teaching and non-teaching staff of Maryvale worked unitedly for the success of the programme.
