Karkala, Jan 3 : The celebration of the birth of Jesus began with Christmas carols followed by the eucharistic celebration on the eve of 24th December 2022. The eucharistic celebration was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Roshan Dsouza.

After the mass, a cultural program was organized by the youths. A Christmas cake auction was conducted and the money generated by this will be used to provide educational scholarships to the needy students. The youths organized this program well and there was a good response from everyone.

Christmas Carols were held by ICYM Attur unit, as part of Christmas Celebration. The main aim being to spread the message of the Birth of Jesus Christ and also to prepare a way for Him. The carols lasted for a total of 16 days going through 10 wards and 450+ houses.
