Bantwal, Oct 7 : “Cleanliness is not just a duty; it’s a way to build a healthier, happier, and more harmonious society”

On the Occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, ICYM Ammembal Unit in collaboration with Catholic Sabha and Stri Sanghatan organised “ Swachhta Abhiyan 2023 – Cleanliness Drive” on October 1 2023.

This event began with the exposure of the banner. Fr. Michael Dsilva – Parish Priest, Mr.Robert Dsouza and Mrs.Laveena Rodrigues – Vice President and Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council, Mr.Jossy Tauro – Coordinator of 21 Pastoral Commissions, Mr.Lancy Rodrigues – Animator, Presidents, Secretaries and Members of ICYM, Catholic Sabha and Stri Sanghatan marked their presence.

Cleanliness Drive took place soon after the mass from the Church grounds till Chelur Bus Stand. 30+ members took part in this cleanliness drive. Members tirelessly worked to pick up the litter and clean the surrounding area. This cleanliness drive was a great success leaving a remarkable memory.
