Belthangady, Dec 25 : Glory to God in the highest and peace to his people on earth. The birth of the Lord was celebrated with devotion here in Holy Redeemer Church on the eve of 24th December 2020. Rev Fr Joseph Alphonse Cardoza Parish Priest celebrated the Eucharist. In his homily Rev Fr Jason explained the celebration of Christmas and its meaning. With the biblical citations he gave a call to get rid of the negative thoughts and to spread love and reach out to the needy because the saviour was born. He also stressed on the point not to lose hope amidst the pandemic rather have hope like the Christmas tree that grows in the winter season.

The choir sang the carols prior to the Holy Mass. Rev Fr Vinod Lobo, Dn Ronson Pinto concelebrated. Systematic arrangements helped the devotees to participate in the liturgy.
