Gurpur - Kaikamba, Nov 29, 2023 : Pompei Youngster's Club Affiliated to ICYM Gurpur Unit and Youth Commission organised Inter-Ward Cultural Fest - SANSKRITI 2023 to the parishioners of Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur - Kaikamba on 19th November at 5:30 PM in the Pompei Sabha Bhavan. All the wards chose their respective themes and presented dance, singing and drama.

Below are the themes for the respective wards

1) ಪೊಂಪೈ ಎ - ಹೊಕ್ಲೆಕ್ ಒಪ್ಸುನ್ ದೀಂವ್ಚೆ
2) ಮಣೆಲ್ - ಆಮ್ಚಿ ಭಾಸ್ ಆಮ್ಚಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಉಲೊವ್ಯಾಂ, ಉರವ್ಯಾಂ
3) ಕೌಡುರ್ ಬಿ - ಪಾಳ್ಣ್ಯಾಂತ್ ದಲೊಂವ್ಚೆ
4) ಕಂದಾರ್ ಬಿ - ಮಾಗ್ಣ್ಯಾಚೆ ಬಳ್ ಸೈತಾನ್ ಫಳಾಫಳ್
5) ಗುರ್ಪುರ್ - ಚಂದ್ರಯಾನ 3
6) ಕೌಡುರ್ ಎ – ಸಾಗ್ವೊಳಿ
7) ಕಂದಾರ್ ಎ - ಆಮ್ಚಿ ವ್ಹಳಕ್ - ಕೊoಕ್ಣಿ ಝಳಕ್

Total of 7 wards participated in this event. Mr. Prajwal Sequeira and Ms. Delitia Pereira were the judges for this event.

1) First prize was bagged by ಕಂದಾರ್ ಎ - ಆಮ್ಚಿ ವ್ಹಳಕ್ - ಕೊoಕ್ಣಿ ಝಳಕ್
2) Second prize was bagged by ಗುರ್ಪುರ್ - ಚಂದ್ರಯಾನ 3
3) Best MC award was bagged by Mr. Stephen Quadras, Kandar A Ward

Consolation prizes were given to all the Wards for the participation.

ICYM - PYC Director Rev. Fr. Rudolf Ravi D'sa congratulated all the wards for the participation and appreciated the ICYM-PYC members for the successful event. Mr. Prajwal Pereira appreciated the wards for the excellent presentation and appreciated the youth for organizing this event in a well-mannered way. ICYM PYC Animator Mr. Godwin Tauro, ICYM - PYC Director Rev. Fr. Rudolf Ravi D'sa along with the judges distributed the prizes to the winners. Event was concluded by singing the PYC Anthem.
