Vamanjoor, April 9 : On Sunday, March 24th, 2024, in observance of Lent, the ICYM Vamanjoor unit organized a Taize Prayer session at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Vamanjoor, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The parish priest - Rev.Fr. James Dsouza, Asst. Priest - Rev. Fr. Ivan Ashwin Dsouza, all the ICYM members and parishioners actively engaged in this prayer service.

The Revelation team, who conducted the prayer, explained the importance of Taize prayer, its origins, and its global impact. They sang songs and led prayers, creating a peaceful atmosphere for everyone to reflect and grow spiritually.

The altar, adorned with lamps, bricks, and lights by dedicated ICYM members, served as a focal point for prayer and contemplation.

The Taize Prayer concluded by offering a peaceful setting for people to reflect on their spirituality during Lent.
