Mangaluru, Mar 18 : ICYM Episcopal City Deanery in collaboration with ICYM Urwa Unit organized Taize Prayer, on 15th March 2020 at 6:15PM, in Urwa Church here. Rev. Fr. Jason Lobo - Assistant Parish Priest of Urwa explained in brief about Taize Prayer and welcomed everyone present. Rev. Fr. Jason Lobo led the Prayer service and ICYM and YCS members of Urwa Unit helped the congregation to sing through the choir.

Taize Prayer began with hymns which were sung in English, Konkani, Kannada and Hindi. The gathering had an opportunity to offer their personal intentions before the Cross. Special Prayers were offered for corona virus disease.

Youths of ICYM Urwa Unit beautifully arranged the Altar with lamps. At the centre of the Altar, Crucifix was placed. ICYM Episcopal City Deanery Director – Rev. Fr. Anil Pinto was present. Urwa parishioners and some youths from other parishes were present for the Prayer service.

It was a graceful spiritual experience for the youths of Urwa Unit along with the youths of Episcopal City Deanery and to the parishioners of Urwa.
