Mangaluru, Aug 11 : Newly ordained priest Fr Lancy D’Souza was welcomed as the new assistant parish priest of Valencia Church. Fr Roque D’Sa, parish priest along with Fr Joswin D’Souza and members of the parish council, welcomed Fr Lancy on 10 August 2020 at 4.00pm.

Fr Lancy was accompanied by his parents, brother, relatives , Parish Priest of Christ the King Church Fr Paul Prakash D'Souza Manela and the Assistant Parish Priests of Cordel Church, Fr Lawrence Cuthina and Fr Shaun Rodrigues.

About Fr Lancy

Rev. Fr Lancy D’Souza belongs to Christ the King Parish, Manela. He was born on October 1, 1987. He is the son of Daniel and Ermis D’Souza, and has a younger brother. Lancy did his high school studies in Shri Devi High School, PUC in St Philomena PU College Puttur; and college studies (B.A.) in S.D.M. College, Honnavar. His hobbies include drawing, reading, volleyball, football, and listening to music. He did his regency at St Philomena College, Puttur and diaconal ministry at Holy Cross Church, Cordel. He was ordained as priest on 23-07-2020.
