Puttur, Nov 23 : ICYM unit of St. Joachim Church, Kadaba organized ‘Khela Pandyat’ inter ward sports day for the parishioners on 20th November 2022 at St. Joachim’s college ground from 10.00 AM. Rev Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo- parish priest and ICYM director, Deacon Rolson Dsouza, Mr. Simon Louis Rodrigues- Vice president Parish Pastoral council, Mr. James Dsouza- Secretary Parish Pastoral council and ICYM Animator, Mr. Frayal Gladson Cross- Treasurer of ICYM central council, Mangalore Diocese, Cristal Cross- unit president, Sinthya Dsouza- unit secretary, Mr. Arun Kumar-referee were present on the dais.

Cristal Cross welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo inaugurated the sports day.

There were several events like cricket, volleyball, shot puts, throwball, tug of war and other funny games for children. All the parishioners participated in all the events with team spirit.

The valedictory program started with Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo with the words of appreciation for all the ICYM members who supported and worked for the success of sports day. A memento was handed over to Mr. Arun- referee as a token of love and gratitude. At the end winners were rewarded with prizes and Immaculate Heart of Mary ward bagged the championship.

The programme came to an end with the words of gratitude by Sinthya Dsouza.
