Saverapura - Moodbidri, April 26 : First Holy Communion was celebrated at St Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura during the morning mass on Sunday, 21st  April 2024. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Noel Mascarenhas celebrated the Holy Eucharist. Fr Rohith Dcosta delivered a meaningful homily. Fr Vivek Colaco and Fr  Elias Cardoza concelebrated.

Six candidates Roystan Crasta, Eian Jude Fernandes, Rynal Barboza, Alvita, Vilona Dsouza and Risha Dsouza received Jesus for the first time in their life in the form of Holy Communion.

At the end of the Holy Eucharist, Fr Elias blessed the Rosary , Scapular and gave it to the child along with the certificate. Parents of the child, relatives and parishioners witnessed this solemn ceremony.
