Mangaluru, Mar 31 : “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”.

In order to “Educate the Heart” , an orientation seminar for the students of Std 6 and 7 of Ladyhill English Higher Primary School Urwa, was held on 29th March 2021 at 9.15 a.m., in the school hall.

The resource person Rev. Fr. Rahul Dexter D’Souza, the assistant priest of Immaculate Conception Church Urwa, was given a floral welcome by the Headmistress Sr. Maisie. The session began by thanking the Lord through a hymn on PPT, “Thank you Lord” for all the situations one has faced in life.

Through examples and real life situations the students were made to realize the problems and difficulties faced by the people in and around them.

They were made to understand that , developing a positive attitude , thinking differently, being unique, respecting everyone, being happy with what you have, believing in yourself etc., would help them to live a happy, contented life because life is all about where one places it and it is up to the person to decide the value of life.

At the end, a thanksgiving mass was offered where the students of Std 6 were initiated into the Carmel Blossom. On behalf of theH.M, Teachers and students, Fr. Rahul was thanked by Adsha for sparing his precious time and helping them grow.
