Navelim : Perpetual Succour Convent High School inaugurates the Desh Apnayen Actizens’ Club

Navelim, Aug 23 : Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim inaugurated the Desh Apnayen Actizens’ Club and held the Investiture Ceremony for the office bearers on 22 August 2023. The mock elections were held in the school on 22 July 2023. The club consists of a total of 196 students of class VI.

The students elected a President and Vice President each as ‘Office Bearers’ of the club for all the four divisions of class VI.

During the Investiture Ceremony, the Headmistress, Rev. Sr. Liberata Fernandes, congratulated all the elected members and wished them all the best to carry out the duties of the club with diligence.

The aim of the Desh Apnayen Actizens’ Club is to foster students’ 21st Century skills in a variety of ways and enable them to become ACTIZENS – alert, informed and active citizens.
