Funeral of Rev. Fr Mahesh D'Souza, Principal Don Bosco English Meduim School, Shirva, and Assistant parish priest was held on 15th October 2019 at Our Lady of Health, Shirva.

Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi was the main celebrant of funeral mass. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, bishop emeritus, Mangaluru, Msgr Bapitst Menezes, vicar general, Udupi diocese, Msgr Maxim Noronha, vicar general, Mangaluru diocese, Fr Denis D’Sa, vicar forane and parish priest, Shirva parish, priests of Shriva deanery, Udupi and Mangaluru were the concelebrants.

Over ten thousand people gathered for the funeral.
