The Catholic Charismatic Renewal International Service (CHARIS) has just announced a new initiative called “Evangelize America,” aimed at bringing together Christians from different traditions.
During a Vatican audience with CHARIS, the Pope recognized this development as a great gift to the Church. Pope Leo’s words and encouragement inspired participants to stay strong in their mission. This was the Pope’s first meeting with the group since his election, but he joins a long line of popes who have encouraged the development of the charismatic movement.
