Tanzania, July 4, 2019 : 107 youth of Kifaru parish of all the substations from Form I to 30 years old, attended one day Youth Conference (KPYC) at Kifaru Parish in Same Diocese recently. The program was intended to motivate the youth who are studying and to strengthen the spiritual life of the Youth. The program began at 8.30 a.m. and concluded at 5.00 p.m.

Prof. Adolf from Morogoro and his wife and son were the resource persons. By their life examples and experiences, they convinced the youth for the need to have strong spiritual foundation in life, the need to have close bond with God to reach the life goals. They also spoke on the need of hard work and consistent effort to achieve the goals. The Youth had the opportunity for confession, then Holy Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Benedict Cherumbe. Fr. Cherumbe spoke on the why and how of giving place to Jesus in the heart of the Youth. In his message, Fr. Alwin the Mission Director, motivated the Youth to be the salt of the earth and the program concluded by giving blessed salt to all the Youth.

The whole program was well arranged by the Parish Pastoral Council under the leadership of in charge Parish Priest Fr. Joseph Rodrigues and by the creative guidance of Fr. George Crasta.
