Brahmavar, Dec 12 : The Inaugural function of the Silver Jubilee of Nirmala English Medium School here started at sharp 9.30 a.m on 11th December 2017, by welcoming the guests by school band and kalasha.

The Chief Guest was Rev. Fr. J.B. Braggs the founder of Nirmala English Medium School, Rev. Fr. Victor Fernandes - the Correspondent of N.E.M.S and the President of the day, Guest of Honour Sri. Lokesh C - B.E.O. Brahmavar, Sri Ravi Prakash Gonsalves - Vice-president of Parish Pastoral Committee, Rev. Sr. Pauline Gabriel Fernandes - former Headmistress of N.E.M.S., Rev. Sr. Lucy Fernandes - H.M of Nirmala Kan. Med. School, P.T.A President Sri Ajmal Asadi, Vice president Mrs. Cynthia Lobo, Mrs. Mythri - President of Alumni Association, Rev. Fr. Roshan D Souza - Asst. Parish Priest of Holy Family Church were present.

The Programme was started by the prayer dance by students. Rev. Fr. J.B. Braggs, Mr. Lokesh, Rev. Fr. Victor Fernandes, Mrs. Irene Pereira & Jevita (S.P.L) lighted the Lamp.

Rev. Fr. J.B. Braggs unveiled Nirmala Matha’s statue and students sang School Anthem.

Sri. Lokesh C – B.E.O. Brahmavar launched the school website www.nirmalaschoolbrahmavar.org 

Rev. Fr. J.B. Braggs, Mr. Lokesh, Rev. Fr. Victor Fernandes spoke on the occasion. Mementos were given to the Guests by Rev. Fr. Victor Fernandes.
Students performed group dance, Yakshagana-Vande Matharam and other cultural programmes.

Neha Sara of IX and Dhanyatha of IX were the Masters of Ceremony. Meghana of X & Relisha of IX welcomed the gathering. Vote of thanks was given by Prathamesh. Programme was concluded by National Anthem.
