Pamboor : Annual Feast of Holy Cross Church celebrated with devotion and pomp

Pamboor, Dec 12 : Annual Feast of the patron of Holy Cross Church here, was celebrated with great devotion and pomp on 11th December 2019. The celebration started by distributing the candles of honor to the sponsors. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Henry Mascarenhas distributed the candles. Parish Council Secretary Asuntha Dsouza read out the names.

The Eucharistic mass started at 10:00AM. Rev.Fr. Ivan Martis celebrated the mass along with other priests. During the homily Rev. Fr. Ivan pointed out the importance of the Cross in our daily life and explained how Jesus sacrificed his life for the betterment of mankind.

Fr Henry Mascarenhas proposed the vote of thanks for the people who worked for the success of the celebration on Vespers and on feast days. Hundreds of pilgrims visited the church and seeked the blessings of the almighty.
