Karkala, Sep 20 : On the occasion of Teacher's Day, the Education Commission decided to organise a programme for teachers on Sunday, the 11th of September 2022 after the morning mass.

YCS Attur made arrangements and managed the whole program. Before starting the program, the teachers were served breakfast and malt by the YCS members.

The programme started at 8:45 AM. The reputed guests were: Parish priest Rev. Fr. Alban D'Souza, Rev. Fr. Jencil Alva, Deacon Ashwin Rebello, Rev. Fr. Roman Mascarenhas, Mr. Santhosh D'Silva, Mr. Melwyn Castelino, Mrs. Clara Lobo, and Mrs. Justine D'Silva.

Rencita Fernandes was the Master of Ceremony and introduced the guests. A prayer song was sung by Reona and the group. Mrs. Clara Lobo gave the welcome speech.

Rev. Fr. Alban D'Souza addressed the importance of Teachers' Day. Roses were given to each and every teacher by Fr. Alban D'Souza. Mrs. Justine D'Silva spoke about the values teachers give in a student's life.

Stelwin Pinto conducted 2 spot games and winners were awarded by Fr. Jencil Alva. Mrs. Justine D'Silva wass given a Memento by Rev. Fr. Roman Mascarenhas. Hence, the programme concluded. Around 32 teachers attended the program.
