Karkala : Udupi Bishop Gerald Isaac Lobo celebrates mass on 2nd Day of St Lawrence Minor Basilica Feast

Karkala, Feb 21 : Most Rev Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi diocese presided over the festive Mass on Monday, 21st February 2022 at 10 am St Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur.

The day's theme was "Dear Parents, set a good example for your children".

Bishop concentrated on the aspects of family life, particularly the relationship between husband and wife. He cited Pope Francis' apostolic exhortation "Amoris laetitia" and advised parents to provide a positive example for their children. Children learn everything not after they reach the age of five, but from the minute they are in their mother's womb itself. Do not quarrel and fight in your life. Children pay attention to everything and follow the same. If you think positively all of the time, your children will learn the same things and live the same lives. If your teachings and style of life are bad, your children will learn and live the same way. As a result, the bishop advised that what you live is passed on to your offspring, and thus you should live a good life.
