Mangaluru, Sep 12 : Different Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) units of Mangalore Diocese celebrated Teachers' Day , 5th September 2021 and conducted various activities to show their love, respect and gratitude towards teachers.  

ICYM Omzoor Unit

On the occasion of Teachers' Day, ICYM Omzoor unit along with Parish Pastoral Council held a celebration wherein the teachers from the Parish were recognized and honoured for their unconditional service and the influence that the teachers have in our lives.

ICYM Venur unit

ICYM Venur unit visited the house of senior teacher Monti Maria Menezes and honoured her.

ICYM Kollangana Unit

ICYM Kollangana Unit celebrated Teachers' Day by honouring teachers of the parish with Roses, as token of Love, Respect and Gratitude.

ICYM Loretto unit

ICYM Loretto unit celebrated Teachers' Day by giving surprise visits to all the teachers of the parish and greeting them with flowers and gifts as token of love, respect and gratitude.

ICYM Kumbla unit

ICYM Kumbla unit celebrated Teachers' Day by conducting various games for the teachers and honouring them with mementos.

ICYM Permannur Unit

ICYM Permannur Unit celebrated Teachers' Day by wishing the teachers of the parish with a wishing card and a small gift to show their love and gratitude towards the teachers.

ICYM Mulki Unit

ICYM Mulki Unit celebrated Teachers' Day by giving surprise visits to all the teachers of the Parish and greeted them with flowers and gifts as token of love, respect and gratitude.

ICYM Hospet Unit

ICYM Hospet Unit organised Teachers'  Day to honour all the teachers of the parish. Ms Sonal Sophia Fernades was felicitated for securing 5th rank in Masters in Hospital Management (MHA) in AJ Institute of Hospital Management.

ICYM (CAL) Bendur Unit

Catholic Action League in collaboration with Young Catholic Students Bendur, organised Teachers' Day celebration for all the teachers of the parish. Chief guest Prof. Edmund Frank, dean of PGDBM at St. Aloysius college , Mangalore conveyed his message. A short cultural program of song, dance, jokes and games was performed by the members of CAL and YCS to entertaine the teachers.
