Vanamahotsava Celebration by ICYM Borimar unit

Bantwal , July 20 : The ICYM unit of St. Joseph Church , Soorikumeru , Borimar celebrated Vanamahotsava on 16th July 2023.

Arvin Pinto welcomed the Parish priest Rev.Fr Gregary Pereira, Steevan Martis- Vice President, Steevan Pais- Secretary of Parish pastoral council, Elias Pereira - ICYM animator by giving the plants. The program was inaugurated by Fr Gregory Pereira.

Fr. Gregory addressed the gathering on the importance of environmental conservation and the significance of planting trees and also the need for collective efforts to protect and preserve our environment for future generations.

Melita Pais, ICYM President presented vote of thanks. Arvin Pinto was the MC for the program.

Around 160 plants were distributed to all the families of the church with the feeling of oneness and to build a good society and environment.
