Mogarnad, Nov 23 : Deva Matha Youth Movement (DMYM) Mogarnad unit in collaboration with church family commission and youth commission celebrated "Children’s  Day" for the children on 13th November 2022 at 10:30 am in the Church Mini Hall.

The program commenced by welcoming the dignitaries to the dais. Mr. Royston Lewis, President Youth Commission, Mogarnad welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Paul Pinto, Parish Priest presided over the programme, Mr Edwin Pasanha - Secretary family commission, Roystan Lewis - President Youth commission , Reema Crasta - President and Joshphine Babitha Dcunha - Secretary of DMYM Mogarnad were the dignitaries on the dais.

On this occasion the dignitaries celebrated the 60th birthday of Mrs Hilda Tauro, Teacher at St Anthony’s Primary school by cutting the cake and presented the memento to her and wished her good luck for her retired life.

Addressing the gathering, Rev Fr Paul Pinto wished all the children on the occasion of children’s day and complimented the ICYM Animator and team, Family and Youth Commission for organizing it.

On the occasion of children’s day,  various competitions were conducted for 1-10 standard students, around 64 children took part in these competitions and Rev Fr Paul Pinto distributed the prizes to the winners.

Melvita Pereira proposed the vote of thanks. Joshphine Babitha Dcunha was the MC of the program.

300 children were present and took part in various Lucky games. The prizes were distributed by Sr Sucitha, Mrs Hilda Tauro and Mrs Jecintha to the winners of lucky games.
