Permannur, Sep 18 : Nativity is not only the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary but also a time to give thanks for the new crop. It is a feast of the family. On this occasion the youth of Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Permannur Unit came together to celebrate this feast.

President Ms Ashvia Anna Lasrado welcomed the gathering. Prayer was conducted by Bro. Pranoy Pereira, OCD. The ‘Novem’ was blessed and served along with ‘payasam’.

Games were conducted for the members by Mr Navaneeth Dsouza, Ms Anita Dsouza, Ms Flavitha Dsouza and Mr Joyal Dsouza, which included dumb charades, housie housie and so on. They had a small birthday celebration of the Asst Parish Priest Rev Fr Steevan Cutinho. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Secretary Mr Dailesh Dsouza rendered the vote of thanks. Around 30 youths were present.

On 11th of September 2022, ICYM members took part in the celebrations of ‘Kutmache ani Vadyache festh’ at St Theresa ward, where they conducted a few games. A token of love was presented to them.
