ICYM Mudipu unit celebrates Independence Day with Cleanliness Drive

Mudipu , Sep 1, 2021 : ICYM Mudipu unit along with Parish Priest, Assistant Parish priest and Parish council celebrated Independence Day in the church premises of St Joseph's Vaz Church Mudipu. On this special occasion, the programme started with flag hosting by Rev. Fr. Assisi Rebello, Parish Priest. Rev. Fr. Richard D'Souza, Assistant Parish Priest addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one's duty with responsibility.

On the occasion of National Youth Day 2021, ICYM Mudipu unit initiated bus stop cleaning near the church. Members cleaned the surrounding, repainted and instructed the public to maintain cleanliness by writing meaningful quotes on the walls of the bus stand. A good number of 27 members participated in the programme.
