Paneer - Ullal, Jan 8, 2024 : ICYM unit of Our Lady of Mercy Church Paneer celebrated Christmas by conducting a sweet and short Christmas programme. The Chief Guests for the event were Rev. Fr. Victor D. Mello, the Parish Priest of Paneer, and Br. Pradeep Rodrigues. The program commenced with the singing of carols and the arrival of Santa Claus. Various activities, including dance, Housie Housie, auction, etc., were also part of the festivities.

ICYM members took the initiative to construct a crib, sacrificing their time, and it turned out beautifully. Additionally, ICYM Paneer conducted crib and star competitions in the parish to showcase talents. The judging took place on December 26th, and the results were announced on December 31st after the mass.
Overall, it was a joyous celebration that brought the community together for Christmas.
