Belthangady, Sep. 18 : Newly erected church of Holy Cross Church, Manjotti celebrated its maiden feast on September 14th 2018 with devotion. Rev Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, Vicar Forane Belthangady deanery inaugurated the newly built grotto of St Joseph. Later offered the solemn Mass. Rev Fr Naveen Pinto broke the word of God and the importance of Cross in our life saying that it gives life to those who accept and strength to over come the difficulties in our life.

Rev Fr Jason Monis , Parish Priest and other priests from varado and guest priests con-celebrated.

Meal was served to the devotees and the initiative was taken by the parish youth.

Holy Cross Church Manjotti is newly erected church and was inaugurated on May 18 2018. V Rev Fr Bonaventure Nazareth the Parish Priest of Belthangady took up the whole responsibility of the erection of New Church and imagination and the development.

Holy Cross Church Manjotti is situated near Jamalabad Fort where Catholics have given their life for the faith during the time of Tippu, when he took them as captives. A beautiful church adds beauty and provides an environment to pray and spend time in prayer. At present the Jamalabad Fort is open for trekking and lot of visitors and tourists come and visit the church and offer their prayers. The beautiful scenery of Western Ghats and the Charmadi hills soothens the eyes and marvel at the wonders of God.
