Belthangady, Aug 7 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Venur unit in collaboration with Catholic Sabha Venur celebrated Laudato Si with the theme "Plant one tree and save 10 lives" in the premises of Christ King Church,Venur near here on Sunday, 4th August 2019.

Stevan Dcunha welcomed the guests and the gathering. Rev. Fr Peter Aranha – Parish Priest presided and inaugurated the programme along with Rev. Fr Victor Pais - Principal, Hoovinahadagali College, Ballari, LJ Fernandes - Administration Officer, Alvas Education Foundation, Arun Crasta - Vice President, Gram Panchayat Venur, Ronald Dsouza - Vice President, Steven Dcunha - Secretary, Venur Parish Pastoral Committee, Edward Rego – President, Catholic Sabha Venur, Sr. Wilma Dsa and Arun Dsouza – Animators, Ninet Moras - President, Anisha Lasrado – Secretary, ICYM Venur unit and other members of ICYM and Catholic Sabha were present for the programme.

Addressing the youth and the gathering Chief Guest Mr Prashanth Kumar Pai - Forest Officer, Venur region said "we should live and must let others too live and it is only possible through growing plants and saving nature". At the end, Anup Pais delivered the vote of thanks and Ronson Tellis compered the programme.
