Belthangady, Feb 9 : ICYM Belthangady Deanery along with ICYM Badyar unit , ICYM Gardady unit , CAP Cell Belthangady Deanery organized Career Guidance programme to the youth of Belthangady Deanery on 6th February 2022 at 10.00 am in Sacred Heart community hall , Madanthyar.  The programme began with a prayer song led by the youth of  ICYM Madanthyar Unit.

Rev Fr. Jerome Dsouza,  Cap cell Co-ordinator as well as the  Principal of Sacred Heart PU college , Madanthyar welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr. Bazil Vaz - Parish priest , Sacred Heart church Madanthyar , Rev  Fr. Jerome Dsouza- CAP Cell coordinator, Rev Fr Steevan Coutinho- Director ICYM  Belthangady Deanery, Rev  Fr . Vincent Dsouza - Coordinator of  CODP , Prof. Norbert Lobo - HOD of Economics, St Aloysius College Mangalore, Mr Alwyn Dsouza , Mr Niral Vaz , Mr Joel Faleiro , Mr Anil Borimar - Representative of ICYM Belthangady Deanery,  Mr Ronson Veigas - President ICYM Belthangady Deanery,  Ms Rose Priya Pinto - Secretary ICM Belthangady Deanery,  Mr Bavil Fernandes- President ICYM Badyar unit , Mr Frayan Fernandes - President ICYM Gardady unit were the dignitaries present on the dais.

The programme went actively where there were a lot of interactive sessions.  

1st session was conducted by Mr Alwyn Dsouza - Coordinator
2nd session was conducted by Prof .Norbert Lobo - HOD of Economics, St Aloysius College,  who gave a brief explanation about the competitive exams.
3rd session was conducted by Mr. Niral Vaz - senior manager , Bank of Baroda Vamanjoor Branch, who gave a brief explanation about the importance of the banking sector and how the sector works.
4th session was conducted by Joyal Fallera -PDO Irvathur village Panchayath who spoke about how to grab the Panchayath level jobs.This was followed by a session which was conducted by Mr. Gregory Sera - Army , Ex - Defence serviceman who gave a brief explanation about the Armed forces and to join the Army.

There was also an informative video by Ms Queeny, who works under the Revenue Department.

Fr. Steevan Coutinho , Director ICYM Belthangady Deanery proposed the vote of thanks and Shiny, President ICYM Madanthyar unit was the host for the programme.  Around 140 youth were present for the programme.
